Florists/Band DJ/lightingetc.....

I'm a bride newbie and just wondering if anyone can recommend any good florists. I'm interested in lighting too but I'm not sure if its best to go with a florist who provides it or get it from a lighting company or the dj.

I'm also stuck between a band/dj combo or just a dj. I've never really been to a wedding that had a band but I'm not sure if it's worth it. If we do get a DJ I'm not sure who? I want a really good MC who hypes up the crowd especially during the entrance..

Your lights should be from the DJ, because they can sync with music, or just put spots where you want them . . . it's usually a DJ thing.

I also recommend Burton's for flowers, but I would suggest Verbena also . . . I got the same package for a bit less from Burton's, so I booked them, but they are both great and depending what you want, your quotes can vary.

As for DJ's, there are so many good ones, but I found High Voltage (Vinny is the owner) to be unbelievably honest, reasonable, and compatible with our needs.

I booked DJs Unlimited and booked my lighting through them, they were really great and had a ton of different lighting options and packages.

I chose to have amber up lights placed throughout the room and on the outside patio.
