FH and i met w barbara at flower michele last week and we LOVED her. she had great ideas, seemed like she was offereing a lot, was very professional, and gave us a good price.
last night we met w jenn at verbena and we loved her TOO!!! she was more laid back, but i felt slightly more comfortable w her and i like that she only does one event per day, and her stuff is also awesome. and her estimate came in at around the same.
there are different things we like about both of them and we don't know how we'll ever decide...not to mention, we have an appointment w laurie from LA blossom next week and i've heard she is amazing...i have a feeling we're going to love her work too!
this is the first time we've had such a problem choosing a vendor and i can't imagine how we're going to make up our minds...is anyone else having a problem like this??

i hate making big decisions in general so the vendors are starting to be an issue for me. i can't make up my mind about anything. i'm still going back and forth on whether to have a band or a dj!

Yes! It's important to pick someone who's work you like, you will be comfortable working with and of course the price. Good Luck. I met with flower michele and was thinking of scheduling appointments with verbena and lablossom.

I'll be honest I booked with FM because I really felt that they would do a great job- I looked at 5 other florists and didn't feel too comfortable with them- I went with my gut and I know that I'm comfortable- that's what matters most.

good luck! try writing down pros and cons of both on paper..maybe that will help you make a decision

I have met with 5 florists so far and Verbena and FM are at the top of my list. Verbena came in cheaper with the personal flowers and FM came in a little less expensive for the CPs so I dont know yet. The other 3 I didnt like at all. My mom is making me visit some others that her friend recommended so once I check those out I will make my decision. I really felt comfortable with Jenn and Barbara as well so I am torn now too! The $15000 grand prize would make my decision a lot easier!!!

i have had this problem with just about all of my vendors, lol! but the fact that you know you already liked the first two, means i am sure whatever choice you make you will be happy with. any difference in cost?

you know, that is REALLY making me toward her. i couldn't believe it when she said she would do a sample before we even book her. that shows that she is really customer-oriented.
did she give you a flower all wrapped up pretty too?! that really made my day!

actually, it all came out to about the same. she didn't give us a break-down though, she said she will mail it to us, along with color samples and pictures of the flowers she would use. which i really thought was a great idea...the more i think about it the more i like her. LOL!!
