I called my florist looking to put more money down towards our balance and they said they preferred that we didn't! I don't like having such a high balance, it throws off how much i have in our saving to spend...
Is anyone elses venders preferring you to wait?

we have a pretty set schedule for vendor payments...i haven't asked to pay early, but as far as i know, the only flexibility we had was with the amount of deposit...but just think, you are earning interest the longer you keep it in savings!

I asked our florist to take a payment earlier and she said yes. I know my FMIL hasnt asked others, she just sends them a check.

well my wedding is in 3 months the interest really doesn't matter to me...Paying large sums of money all at once on my wedding day does...
