I recently went to two florists. I went to visit Flowers by Brian (Watermill house vendor) as well as Flower Michele. I loved both of them equally and got quoted very similar prices. My question is is there any advantage to going with a house vendor over a non-house vendor? Also does anyone have any feedback on Flowers By Brian? I know everyone on this site LOVES Flower Michele, so I don't need anything on them. TIA!!

Re: Florist/Watermill Question
I don't think there is any difference. Sometimes a house vendor is more familiar with the space and the protocol of the location, but any good florist will do just fine. Sometimes you get a discount if you use a house florist. I used James Cress Florist for our wedding at Watermill...and we did get a slight discount.

Re: Florist/Watermill Question
I believe that a vendor becomes a 'house vendor' is because they give the hall a cut of their profits if you use them; vendors pay to be a 'house vendor.' I don't think it matters which vendors you use.

Re: Florist/Watermill Question
I'm a fellow Watermillie. I'm using Flower Michele. I was a little put off by FBB at an expo I went to, so I never met with them personally. I don't know if there are any advantages to using a house vendor. Good luck - go with your gut!

Re: Florist/Watermill Question
IMO, I would go with Flower Michele because they have only good reviews on here and Flowers by Brian is mixed reviews. All of Flower Michele's pics I have seen have been beautiful and when we saw them at Oheka the bouquets were outstanding!!!
