so Im really into making my own centerpieces.. but my mom is insisting that they may come out cheap looking.. and now has me second guessing but we just dont think we can afford flowers... so my ? is ... is it possible for them to give me a price and then see a sample before we decided... (i would pay for the sample) but i would like to see it before i decide. Havent gone to any florists yet i was just wondering if anyone else knows so i dont sound stupid if i ask.

Re: flower ?
Check out burtons. My friend was telling me that they have the best prices. You can tell them what you were quoted at other places and they will beat that price. They also charge the same for all flowers too she said. I am sure alot of girls on here have used them and can give you more info.

Re: flower ?
you know i was the same way i got freaked with what i was told they might run but so far everything has been cheaper than i was told by other people the DJ i expected about $4500 and they were only $2700 so dont get scared alot of places do great work but Burtons doesnt advertise and they have been in buisness for years so they must be doing something right

Re: flower ?
I think the DIY centerpieces is a good idea, That is what I am doing. Starting next week I am going to start gathering my stuff together and I'm going to make one to see how they look. Then I am going to post it to get some feed back. I'm even going to take it to my job and sit it on my desk for a week to see what other people think about it.

Re: flower ?
Just be careful with calalillies they are more expensive. At a bridal show I went to they had alot of centerpieces and the calalilly ones were twice as much and some of the other ones were very elaborate. But the pic she showed, theres not many in the centerpiece so it might be fine.
