Go to Flowers by Burton. They charge you for the amount of CP's, Bouquets, Bouts, Coursages not the specific type of flower.

the biggest cost will be the CP. Do you have an idea of how many tables you will have?

It really depends on what you want. If you have an idea of what you like, tell your florist and he/she will be able to tell you if it is in your budget. Try Designs by Rose! Love her!!!

Mine will be costing around $1200 - $1300 and I'm getting everything-- I'll have 10 tables, (low CPs), my bo-k, an MOH bo-k, 4 corsages and 7 bouts... Depending on what you want, the number of tables, number of attendants, and high or low CPs your budget should be adjusted accordingly.

Re: Flower budget

I think it is totally reasonable and a good florist will work with you on your budget. Don't even get me started on a floral budget mine is soooo low its almost criminal on this site but i have to stick with what I can afford which is why I will be doing carnations bunched up together to look like a very modern, chic, bouquet! I wouldn't worry if I were you!

oh and my cp will be non-floral i am using candles and peacock feathers

peacock feathers sounds soooo sexy and cute...and honestly I want to go even cheaper than 1000 but I don't know much about these things so I set that as the highest I can go...

Re: Flower budget

I knew from the beginning that I did not want any expensive flowers because well...they die haha and some of the really expensive ones are a little weak and they need special care during the day so I just said F* it. I will go with a cool design and the peacock feather is, as you said, totally sexy and goes well with neutral colors (my colors are chocolate brown and gold). The feathers also make it a little regal feeling IMO. I say, shop around and go with what you really love and try to make it fit in your budget. If it doesn't, then go for the runner up.

Since you are getting married on the water....instead of using flowers as CP's why dont you look into making your own. There are so many differnt things you could do on your own and for a lot less money then flowers. I am getting married on the beach in the begining of September of this year and I am using a vase that is about 9in tall and inside I am putting sand, a 6in pillar candle and some shells. I bought all of the stuff from Save on crafts . com and I bought enough for 15 tables and it cost me around $200.

The only flowers I am using are for my bouquet, MOH bouquet, 3 bouts and 2 coursages and I am using Flowers by Burton. I told them I wanted tropical colorful flowers like calla lilly, sunflowers, orchids, gerbea daisies, tiger lillies...you get what I mean. They are giving me a great price! Most florists charge by the type of flower you want (calla lillies are very expensive) but this florist just charges by the number of things you needs (ie. # of bouquets, bouts, coursages). If you want to know how much I am paying send me an FM.

HTH!
