Flower Color Scheme

My wedding theme is black and white (bridesmaids in black) . I am starting to look at flowers. I don't want to do all white (or red, because I know that's popular for black dresses) . I am getting married October 1 - but I am not a fan of autumn colors. Any suggestions? Will deep purple with some white flowers look out of place this time of the year?
