She's only going to be 3 so I'm not expecting her to actually toss petals on the ground. She's gonna have a basket with flowers to carry as she walks down. I'm actually kind of sad that I'm not gonna get to see her do it!

I am having two girls (8 and 4) and they will hold baskets filled with petals to throw.
For a gift, I am buying them flower charms on a chain that they can wear that day, as well as a bag filled with fun stuff to keep them amused during the reception - stickers, notebooks, lip gloss, etc.

a basket of petals to throw down the aisle. As for her gift, David's Bridal has a set with a Bride Barbie and Kelly Flowergirl. I didn't want to get her something she would never used. She'll be only 4, so I think its fitting. I'm also going to get her jewelry from claires.

Mine is having a basket of rose petals to throw.
My dresses are navy blue so I got her a cross with saphires and diamond on it. I am giving all my BM bracelets with spahhires in it as well. She's is FH only niece so we got her extra nice.

My florist is giving her a basket with a flower arrangement in it and then petals on top so she can toss as she walks down the asile but then afterwards she'll still have a basket with flowers ... she'll be 4 ...

My flower girls are 3 and 4 and will be carrying baskets w/ rose petals and they've been practicing throwing the petals down so hopefully that works out!
I think the kissing ball is a great alternative if they are too young to throw petals.

My FG is carrying a basket with rose petals and throwing them. She will be 5. she's so cute she has been practicing for the past 5 months. I got her a Bracelet with her name engraved, a flowergirl tote bag and the book 10 neat things about being a flowergirl (something her mom can read to prepare her for the wedding. I also plan to fill the tote bag with activities she can do at the reception to keep her busy.
This was the first thing I bought for the wedding, before we even set the date! I loved it and just bought it because I knew that with my luck I wouldn't be able to find it again closer to the wedding.
