How old is too old for a flower girl?? I have two little cousins who are in going to be around 9 years old by the time my wedding gets here. they are the flower girls in my bothers wedding in september, so i think they are expecting to be in my wedding too (my brother and I got engaged 5 days apart so when we talk about planning things tend to overlap a bit) i dont want to do the whole jr brides maids either....
Mine are 8 and 9.
i read that the 'typical' age is 4-8. So i think 9 is fine.
my friend had an 'older' flower girl and ring bearer and it was great! They were so mature and easy to work with and they actually understood their jobs and such!

My future neice is 9 and her sister is 4 so i made the 4 year old the flower girl and the 9 year old a jr. bridesmaid...it is sort of wierd to have a jr because im not really sure what her role is but she has been a FG about 5 times and our wedding is very important to her so i figured she would want a 'cooler' title. Just my situation though....in any case it probably would have been easier to make her a FG
my FG is going to be 5 when the wedding rolls around (she might even be 4...or 6...i forget lol) I definately think you can get away with a 9 year old as FG...I originally wanted three flowers girls (the one I have now plus her 2 sisters...they would be 11, 9 and 5 at the time of the wedding) but figured that was a bit much...

My FG will be 9. My JB is 14
I'm having a ring bearer who’s going to be 8. I really wanted another cousin to do it but the parents are weird and the father isn't coming to stay home and watch the kids. Since they don't live close they have to keep the little boy home as well. :( My niece is going to be barely 3 as my flower girl. I hope she can walk on her own. If not we might do the wagon idea and have my sister pull her down.

my FG's will be 8 and 2 when I get married.
My FHs goddaughter will be about 5 when we get married so she is the flower girl...Then I have 2 cousins that will be almost 8 & 10. I am making them jr bridemaids. I thought they would like fitting in with the older girls since they are much more mature. Plus I want my fg to match me and I thought 3 kids in ivory was too much
