Flower girl dresses

Went to two stores saturday and did not like anything. Where did everyone get the FG dresses, and what is a reasonable price?

Since our wedding was in May, we waited until March/April and then purchased dresses from Century 21 or Burlington Coat Factory. Tons of dresses, all adorable, $30 each!

I found a breathtaking dress at the store my girls got their dresses from 'Princess Bridals' in Farmingdale. I have to admit though, they were the same costs as my girls dresses or very close to it....I can not believe how much they really take advantage of little girl dresses.....it's HALF the MATERIAL! It must take a lot of work to put it together if it has a lot of detail though.

Re: Flower girl dresses

I know what dress I want for my flower girls, I have 8 girls! but I'm not sure where to get them from yet. 3 contenders, Huntington Bridal, Morolay in Huntington, and wedding salong of manhasset. Huntington ranged depending on size, 109-124, morlay was 119 for all sizes , wedding salon of manhasset was 125 all sizes. all for the same dress. They all said they'd work on the price when/if i get back to them. i'm thinking may 10%? I dunno.

Never thought flower girl dresses were going to be so much money! I though max $50-$60 but I was wrong.

Hi girls,

Does anyone know the proper etiquette in terms of who buys the flower girls dresses and ring bearers suits? Should the bride and groom be buying them?

Thanks!

I don't know if there really is an etiquette on this or not. I'm buying my flower girl and two ring bearers their day of outfits since my sister is buying her MOH dress and throwing me my shower. I can't see adding on another expense for her.

If you are looking for inexpensive yet very pretty FG dresses try JCPenny, go to their website and type in Cinderella. Very affordable as compared to the wedding salons and they have from toddler to school girl age. I can't rationalize spending over $100 on a dress she'll grow out of in like 6 months and won't wear again. That's just me though. Oh and they also have suits for the little guys there too.

I used this website for the FG and RB, they both looked adorable and the prices were so reasonable:

(the RB also had a little cap)

Try Macys, JC Pennys, or any dept store. I think Tri-County has vendors that carry dresses for all occasions-flower girl, baptism etc. Good luck :)
