Do you think 2 1/2 is too young for a flower girl?

I don't think so. Our little one is our FG and we think she might be ok( she'll be 21/2 then). But you do need to be aware that the day of can be something very diff. She might feel weird not being w/ her parents or could even freak out seeing them. Also at 2 1/2 it's a little hard for them to fully understand what's going on..

My neice is going to be my flower girl and will be 2 1/2 by then. She's so.......adorable that I couldn't imagine my wedding without her. Fh said she's too small and may act up during the church but that's ok with me. Think about it some more if it's really worrying you

I dont think so .. but you have to remember with her age she might get frightened and not walk down the aisle. I've seen it happen so many times!

2.5 should be fine, though you may have to keep an eye on her (well, not you, but you know what i mean) =0P

nope!! i say as long as she walk, ur ok. mines turning 3 in july and i'm getting married in august, so she won't be much older than urs. worse comes to worse she chickens out and won't walk down the aisle. IMO not a big deal, as long as she takes pics that all that matters.

i went to a wedding where the ring bearer was exactly 2 1/2. the MOH walked down with him cause hes really shy, and he hid behind the pillow for most of the way down. it may not have been perfect, but everyone laughed and it was SO darn cute. heres a pic without incriminating the kid lol. i think if you are comfortable with the maturity level and attention span of the kid then it will work out fine.

If you're expecting her to walk nicely and throw the petals ever so nicely....then yes, she'll be too young....however, if you don't care whether or not she makes it all the way down the aisle, then not at all....our FG will only be about 21 months old...... we just don't mind if she circles around, comes back to the doors then goes down the aisle, or doesn't even make it....she's so damn cute I couldn't resist putting her in there!!
