I dont think so but that is my opinion. You might need someone to keep an eye on her or guide her thru things tho. I think it would be ok!

your not being a bridezilla! i had this fight with my FSIL bc she just expected her (at the time of the wedding) 11 month old to be my flower girl....now thats not happening! thats way too young and thats why i was against it.....but i thing 2 1/2 should be ok.....and you have the right to worry!

As of now i told my fsil no but as time goes by and my niece gets older i'll see if i think she's old enough to do it.
my fsil didn't put me or hubby in her bridal party.. fh's sister this is!!
she is driving me insane. I made her a bridesmaid (shes mad shes not moh), her husband is in the bridal party, and her older step daughter is a jr. bridesmaid. Now she insists(for my wedding) that i make her younger daughter the flower girl!
geeeez lol i'm an idiot lol

Re: Flower Girl issue::.......
nope! my niece was my brothers flower girl and i think she was 1 1/2. she was the best flower girl in the world. my brother in law had to stand close to the alter and lure her in with a big orange so she walked right to it!

even if she does 'mess' up the ceremony, i guaruntee that it will be so cute and funny that it will make your ceremony memorable!

I think that age is fine!
If you're worried, try doing some practice runs with her!
And I agree, if she does happen to mess up a little... everyone will just think it was adorable! and i'm sure you'll look back on it and laugh

My flower girl will be 2 going on 3 at the time of the wedding, I'm worried about her making it all the way down, but she will be walking with her brother (4). They will be alright. Nothing that happens will take away from your day, don't worry.

My niece will be 16 mths at my wedding, I haven't asked my sister about her being a flower girl yet because I want to see how my niece is a couple of months before the wedding. If my niece is going to be a flower girl, I would have her walk w/my sister so she would behave better.
