i personally like the FG in white (then it would match your dress) with a sash in the wedding color (matching the BM), but i have seen FG dresses in the BM color. we live in the age of options!

Whatever you want.
I did not want minibrides (my flowergirls were 3 and 1) so I put them in Brown and pink. My girls wore Brown and Champagne.

She could totally wear a tartan sash.
My flowergirls are dressed in white with sashes to match the bridesmaids. It's whatever you want it to be.

FSIL is buying the FG her dress (since it's her daughter) and I told her to just pick out a white dress to match me and I will buy a sash that matches the BM dresses. I don't really care about the style.

I'm having my FG coordinate with me (although we're not ordering her dress till the end of Jan, so anything could change). Tricky thing is my gown is pink ( *ahem, blush*) so I don't think it will be so easy to match her. I might do a white fg dress with pink sash.
So you could put her in white w/maybe a colored sash or plaid sash?
Does that even help or am I confusing you?

My flower girl who is also our daughter is matching me and the color scheme of the wedding... our wedding theme is like a spring garden so all the bms have on different colors pale yellow, light blue and mint green.. so Cynthia (my daughter) will be wearing a rose color.. but the dress looks kinds like mine.. I will 'attempt' to post pics

mine match me dress wise white and lace but my BM's are going to be in champagne with navy shawls.... and the guys in navy suits with champagne vests so the FG's are going to have a navy sash

I think you can make her match whoever you want. Personally I like the idea of a little puffy white dress and a colored sash that matches the rest of the BP colors.
