How soon before the wedding to I order flower girl/Jr Bridesmaid dresses? I gave the info to my future sister-in-law (her daugher and 2 cousins comprise the flower girls and Jr Bridemaid) the info on the dresses, told her all she had to do was go to the store and order them....I want to check up on it, but don't want to be annoying....at what point would you say the dresses MUST be ordered if my wedding is 3/15? (note: we are getting them from Davids Bridal in Westbury)

when we were planning i was told not to order the flower girl dresses untill 3 or 4 months before - because those little guys grow like weeds! and i'm glad we waited 'cause they did! i'm sure every bridal shop is different though ....so i'd ask the shop.

Well... David's Bridal gets there dresses in in about 6-8 weeks sometimes sooner. So I would say you wouldn't need to go until December. I wouldn't want to get the flower girls dress too early because they do grow fast. I would just make sure it is not a style that is going out. I got my flower girl dress from there and got it in a size bigger than she was because it was clearanced so we wouldn't be able to get it at wedding time. I actually bought it on Super Bowl Sunday.. so last January for my October wedding this year. It has to be taken in a tad but length wise it is perfect. I would just ask David's Bridal if it is on the list of dresses that are going to be discontinued first. If not then you have time to wait to order it.

i got my flower girl dresses from davids bridal 3 months before.. they are supposed to arrive a month before the wedding.. they will only need 1 fitting..

Our FG dresses are from David's in Westbuy as well. It only took them about a month to come in and they were special order colors. So they come pretty quick. I'd wait as long as you can, cause kids do grow
