Flower Girls
Are all of you having your flower girl wear white, or are you having flower girls in the same color as the bridesmaids? I am still undecided on this one. If you are using the bridesmaids color, did you have a hard time getting a matching flower girl dress? Are there any designers of bridesmaids gowns that also offer matching flower girl dresses? Thank you in advance !!

Flower Girls
My flowergirls are wearing burgundy dresses which they found somewhere in Westchester. My FH and I did not want anyone wearing white except me. The adult bridal party is wearing black(which I did not want the kids wearing) so I decided that the kids should wear burgundy.

Flower Girls
My flower girl was my daughter. She wore a white dress with lavendar flowers on the dress and in her hair to go with my MOH's dress. My cousin just got married on Saturday and she bought material from the manufacturer of her BM dresses. She then had a seamstress make the dresses for her jr bm and flower girl.

I`m having the flowergirls wear white. I know that Jessica McClintock Boutique has matching and coordinating dresses for a number of styles. We bought the BM/MOH dresses through the Roosevelt Field store - 2 week delivery to home, but they don`t do alterations.

Does the Jessica McClintock store in Roosevelt Field have a large selection? How were there prices?

my flowergirl is wearing white- i thought about having her wear the same color as my girls but they are wearing black and little girls look better in white! i also asked her and let her decide....she wanted white so that's fine with me! i just want her to be comfortable and to feel like a princess!

Matching the Bridesmaids
Our flowergirl is my niece, the daughter of my matron of honor. Well, we (her mom and me) thought she`d look better in burgundy (the girls` color) rather than white, and also didn`t think she should look like a mini-bride. Plus, we both knew she`d love to be dressed like the adult girls. At Bridal Suite of Bay Shore, they told us how some of the designs could be made in childen`s sizes. We chose a Bill Levkoff dress, and the design was modified slightly just for her. I forget who the actual maker of my flower girl`s dress was, but this is the way we chose to go. It is very difficult to find something out there that is a perfect match to the bridesmaids` dresses. Her dress cost around $190, and I insisted on splitting it with her mom.

I'm not sure yet what we're doing, but I know the Bridal Originals has matching Flower Girl dresses. They're really cute.

It has a fair selection of BM and bridal gowns, as well as a catalog in store. My MOH had found a JM dress in Lord and Taylor and JM ordered all the dresses for color match and size. The outfits were reasonable (3pc. skirt top wrap). You can check the JM website, but it doesn`t give prices.

Flower Girls- another idea
You could do either a white or ivory dress with a sash that matches your BM. You could ask the store to have extra material sent from the manufacturer, and have it either sewn around the waist, or you could simply tie it around the waist. You could also use the material to make a little bag for her to carry. Continued success!Welcome New Vendors
