Flower Girls - not attending reception

We aren't having any kids at the reception except for my flower girl and ring bearer (and possibly the flower girls sister because she will be free bc of her age and with her family situation it is really hard for them to find someone to watch her).

Re: Flower Girls - not attending reception

My flower girls were at the bridal shower and they will be in the reception but yeah I have heard of someone picking up the children to watch them during reception. Someone I know did that. It's your personal preference. Anything goes. If you leave them there and not invite other children, the guests will understand.

Flower Girls - not attending reception

The only kids invited to our wedding is our flower girls and ring bearer. We are allowing them to stay for the reception but we r just leaving it up to the parents if they want the kids to get picked up. The parents of the flower girls and ring bearer actually brought it up on their own and said they r going to try and get someone to pick them up so they can enjoy themselves. If they can't then they'll stay. And yes I've seen that done a lot! However if there's other kids invited to the reception then they shouldn't be asked to leave. Plus they have more of an important role in the wedding than the other kids the are there.

Flower Girls - not attending reception

My flower girl and ring bearer are being picked up. The reception is late and the parents want to have a good time. I don't think it is rude if u have the conversation with the parents first. Since it is my request, I even volunteered to pay for a car service to take them home but they said no.
