Re: flower help

I would stick with a solid or monochromatic bouquet for the BMs with that dress. I like pink with blue! Ivory would be nice too, then you can have ivory roses with blue hydrangea.

Re: flower help

blue hydrangea is nice. I'm having blue BM dresses and I'm accenting with hot pink roses and maybe white and blue delphinium. I like the way the pink will stand out.

Good luck!

Re: flower help

LOVE love love the blue hydrangea that Holly231 is posting....AND I used Hydrangea for some of my flowers (we used 3 different flowers, all the same color, hot pink-we had 2 hot pink tulip boo-ks, 2 hydrangea, and 2 Gerbera daisies). I also kept my boo-ks small....so I think the hydrangeas were 2 blooms and it was perfect!

What about doing an opposite theme.....the girls carry ivory flowers (to emphasize the dress) and you carry the blue hydrangea? I think that would look awesome in the pics!

First of all - Hi Vanessa!

I agree and love Shana's idea (that I quoted above) ... having the girls carry ivory flowers and having YOUR bo-k incorporate blue hydrangea -- or maybe combining the hydrangea in your bo-k with some ivory roses , but basically keeping the BM's flowers simple in a solid , neutral color ..

Your dress is SO beautiful and so is the BM's ... I would also say that once you speak with your florist (if you chose one already) they can usually help you out with a lot of other suggsetions on what colors look good, or how to contrast the two, etc. I know that is what saved me, my florist came up with many wonderful ideas to incorporate all the colors I wanted into the bo-ks

Good Luck!!!! (and good to see you finally post ))
