I agree with Goldie! I'm not a picky person, but I always know exactly what I want and so far, I've been lucky and I haven't had to look far to find the prices I wanted to spend. Florists are the one thing I'm not doing that with. I plan on taking a while on that and seeing many different places. Even if you think the prices that you got are 'a little' high, look more!
We visited probably 5 or 6 florists before we made our decision. We are spending probably $2300 on everything. We are having an arch, ceremony flowers, boq, bouts, centerpieces and a different centerpiece for FH and myself. We picked out what we wanted and asked for the samething at every place. And then asked at each place how full our centerpieces would be.
i am paying $1900, i am having half high and half low cp's, my boq and a throw away boq, 4 bm's boq's, 2 mom corsages, 2 grandma corsages, bouts if i want (haven't decided), flowers on the card table and sweetheart table and extra flowers thrown in on the cocktail hour tables and trays.

I am spending about $6000.00, which I know sounds ridiculous, but I need centerpieces for about 26-30 tables and I want all high centerpieces. I also wanted to add orchids around the branches and orchids unfortunately are pretty pricey:( I am also having a fairly big bridal party. I was initially quoted almost $2000.00 more at another florist which I was not going to pay, but this price seemed pretty reasonable for all that I am getting. Thank Goodness I have two years to pay for them, lol:)
I made an appointment with Flowers by Brian...still waiting to hear back from Verbana but they don't do appointments on Saturdays so not sure.
