I'm getting married on Dec. 6 and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for centerpieces and/or bouquets. I don't really want to use the holiday theme for my flowers because our reception site will already have their decorations up and I don't want it to be overkill. Thanks!

Re: Flower ideas for winter weddings
Here is a link to flowers that are available for the month of December... hope it helps a little!
My FH's brother got married Jan 4. The church was already decorated with tons of red and white pointsettas, they didn't have to spend anything for the church. And the bride had a huge bouquet of red roses. When I saw the church pictures, it was one of the most beautiful backdrops in wedding pics I have ever seen!! Their centerpieces had red and white flowers, mostly roses, and pine sticking out! Beautiful!!

We decided to have candle gardens for our centerpieces, but we were considering topiaries instead....you can dress them in any color & decorate the pots as you see fit.

BM's flowers: white roses and some other small white flowers with same berries holly
MOH:same as BM's but added mini calla lillies

I am pretty sure that we are using roses and candles will be incorporated into my MOH's bouquets, we have a candlelight theme. January wedding.

Re: Flower ideas for winter weddings
We got married Jan 4th and these are the colors we used. Sorry it is the only pic I have uploaded that isn't black and white of my flowers.
I COULD be wrong, but I LOVED those cream centerpieces as well (from bellefleurny.com) and I read (NOT FROM A FLORIST) from someone on this site that they were like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ b/c they are orchids. The girl wrote some crazy figure like over $300 or something. That isn't the word, just don't get too excited until you research them. I would love to know that is wrong.
