Flower issues

Flower issues

We don't have a big budget for flowers and in order to stay in budget we were going to get low centerpieces of seasonal fall colored flowers. Last night FH told me he really prefered tall CP so I'm trying to figure out how we could do it and still stay within our budget. We like the tall style that have a round, pomander style, flower ball at the top (first photo). Do you think it would look ok if we used cheaper fall colored flowers, like gerbera daisies (second photo — not in pink)?
Also, the flowers for my bo-k and the MOH and BM are callas and roses (third photo is as close as I can find right now, but they would be all solid)). I was thinking of introducing the gerberas by using them to decorate the chuppa. Do you think the mix will look bad?

If you do more greens it will def. help. Also, one vendor told me he pays less if he orders 1 type of flower in bulk as opposed to mult. types in smaller amounts.

Why not try adding stuff like fall leaves or berries to fill in? I went to a wedding with raised CPs & instead of flowers on the table they had gourds & pumpkins, some were even jack-o-lanterns.

You should post on the vendor site and see what the florists say on there. I am sure they have some great suggestions.

I e-mailed my florist and she said we could probably do it for around $75, which is $35 more than the low ones. I guess I have to think about it. All together that would be $700 more.

if you look closely at the pic I posted on your other c-piece thread....my peach bouquet was peach gerberas, peach roses, and ivory roses with green ivy! It was a great combo and I got many compliments on it!
