Flower Keepsake DIY

I don't know why this thought didn't occur to me beforehand, but its a seriously cheap but memorable keepsake. I don't remember seeing this on the boards at all so I decided to post it. Hope I inspire someone!

DH and I took a centerpiece home with us from the wedding and kind of just...forgot about it. Tonight we were cleaning up the apartment and saw that it was all dried out...so I took all the petals off the stems and DH ground them together a little and we made little bags of potpourri out of them! I put them in our respective dressers so that every time we open them we get a little wiff of our wedding I used some leftover organza favor bags from the wedding to stash it in so for me it cost nothing!

BUMP for those who didn't see it and might wanna try it out for themselves

what i usually do is cut the heads off the flowers and put them in empty vases or little fish bowls. they look really pretty and smell nice.

but i like your idea too... i might try that
