Flower Michele !

Hey Everyone,
There is a chance we might have yet another Flower Michele bride here!

As some of you know, I have been very busy with the bar exam and now with working at a law firm, so my mom and sister (my MOH) - said they would start looking around at florists for me and report back to me.

They don't know much about wedding vendors, etc so they just stopped by Flower Michele first based on a recommendation. They didn't know you didn't need an appt but Barbara showed them options and gave them prices.

So last night, I get an excited call from my sister that they just saw the most beautiful flowers in the world! They thought when they walked in, it would be too expensive (by the looks of the flowers) but once they were given a quote, they were content!

I have an appointment on the 16th now to check it out!

Any advice or tips?
(this will be my first florist visit, etc)

Last night we went to Flowers Michele and we were so happy with John. He was great and we felt really comfortable with him. His ideas were so good and he worked within a budget and went above and beyond to help us. We have sooo many tables and he had wonderful ideas on how to work with the room at Flowerfields. This is our 2nd florist and we aren't going to look anywhere else. We are going to book with them!!!! They are great!

We thought that they would be to expensive when we walked in but they are really reasonable. John is great. If you let him get creative he can show you things you never thought of.

here's some advice... BOOK FLOWER MICHELE!

I originally had another florist, and nothing's worse than not being confident that you'll have amazing flowers the day of your wedding. With FM, you'll have NO WORRIES!!!

And you're right... totally thought they'd cost SO much more!!! He is SO reasonable!!!

NIna!!!! Once you meet with him.. that will be it!! He is just FABULOUS!!!!

Definitely check around. I was not that impressed - felt they pushed their vision on me without asking what I wanted - and found them very expensive. Everyone on these boards love them but I have had a completely different experience with them. I had heard that they can work within any budget and honestly I am lucky enough not to have a strict budget but found their quote a bit high so I went to another florist and got the exact same everything (including upgraded bouquet) for a third less.

I am not a picky bride, nor is money a huge issue for me... Walking into my appointment I thought I was going to book them on the spot (as I had done with my DJ, photograher, videographer & DOC) instead I walked out frustrated at their lack of suggestions.... JMHO - and I know I am totally in the minority!

Wow, I'm not the only one! Who did you meet with?

Maybe John is better, but I met with Barbara and I was way less than impressed. I found the pricing to be fair, actually, but I had the same experience with feeling like she was completely ignoring what I wanted and pushing their vision on me - she basically suggested to me exactly what I'd told her I didn't want!

It seems though that people have had great luck with John though, so I guess maybe just make sure you make your appointment with him?
