Hi Everyone, I need some help. Today I visited both Flower Michele and Pedastals and really liked them both. There prices are basically the same (with Pedastals coming in a bit lower - nothing much). Can anyone give me recommendations of one over the other? Your experiences with them are most appreciated. Many thanks, Christina

I booked with Pedestals, but I did not visit Flower Michele, so I cannot compare the two. I have heard great things about both! I've seen both highly recommended here, too.
Pedestals came highly recommended to me by friends of mine, so I went with them.
If you like them both equally, read some reviews (bearing in mind EVERYONE will have good and bad reviews) and then decide... If you really do like them both equally, go with the lower price.

I went to both Flower Michelle and Pedestals this past weekend. I ended up booking with Pedestals because they added more flowers to my centerpieces and the quote was about $1000 less. Also, Robert of Pedestals seemed alittle more enthusiatic and excited about creating my flower arrangements... and John from Flower Michelle seemed kind of flustered and complained a lot about his staff... Maybe he was having an off day.. but it didn't invoke confidence. Hope this helps.

One weekend I had appointment with 3 florists. My last appt was FM, FH and I arrived early so they made us wait, we didnt see not one CP in their showroom, but what ever that didnt matter, we were just blown away from our Pedestals visit, that FH and I just said we have to go back to Pedestals to book with them, we did not wait long enough to visit with someone from FM. Ped. really know their stuff and loved them

I had appts with both vendors. Pedastals not only beat FM prices but Robert I felt was so much more excited and enthusiatic about working on my wedding. Pedastals all the way! FM kept giving me a range that had a 3000 dollar different. Pedastals have me the exact amount!

I used Pedestals and loved them! They were the only florist we saw and we booked on the spot! We worked with Robert and he was amazing to work with! Highly recommend them!!!

I had appointments with both, and booked with FM. The price was less (by about $600) they gave me more say in what went in to my centerpieces and bouquets. Pedastals shot down 3 of my ideas that I REALLY wanted, and when I told FM what they said (w/o mentioning specific names) they said that was rediculous.
My wedding is in 2 weeks and I can't wait to see my flowers!!

Hands down, Flower Michele. John was amazing to work with and he was my favorite vendor. I loved my flowers and a year and a half later, still get compliments on them.

same here...we booked with pedestals--I feel in love with a sample they did for me. I didn't meet with FM but I hear good things. Ask both to do a sample before you book. I'm not sure if FM does that but Pedestals will.

What about flowers by brian - I went to all 3 and i am going with Brian. I worked with jeffery - really great in the business forever -
has anyone else had the same experience?
its JOE (not jeffery) - i think im working with to many vendors - so i went yesterday with my FH and signed my contract with them. They were so great - Joe was running around showing me mini examples of what to expect. He is really talented and has been in the business forever!! He was willing to work with me for what ever i needed.
AND They ended up taking an additional $800 - yesterday which puts me right where i needed to be for my budget that we had estimated for and that is with EVERYTHING!! all the centerpieces ( we estimated 18) decorating the church and all the flowers for the church, and additional crocurages , flower girl and 6bm and 6 gm. just totally amazing .
I will let you all know how it turns out!!
Girls you have to check Joe out - if nothing else give him a call. - I am telling you - I went to the other 2 places and recieved quotes - Pedestals - I just did not like the atsmosphere and as i was walking in there was a mom and daughter leaving who had just had it totally out iwth them about the price on there contact and hidden fees that they were now expected to pay?? ( thats that they told me but who knows)

We had a GREAT experience booking with Flower Michelle! Barbara was very helpful and accomodating on price, she knew exactly what we wanted!
We didn't meet with Pedestals, but John from FM is awesome. He was our second flower appointment and FH and I were so impressed with him. John is so enthusiastic about his work -he's creative and gives great suggestions, but he's also interested in the opinions of the bride and groom. I can't wait to see our flowers!

I agree. You learn a lot by searching by florist in the Brides Review and looking at the flowers and the brides' comments. But in this case, you may be splitting hairs since both are reputable vendors with many fans.
