I met with Barbara at Flower Michele recently. She was really nice and knowledgeable. She has a lot of experience. But every post I read about Flower Michele only mentions John. Has anyone worked with Barbara?

I met with Barbara as well when I went there. I also always see posts about John but I thought she was great. She has great ideas and spent a lot of time with me. I'd be very comfortable going with her. I haven't booked yet ... i'm going to a couple more places, but have a feeling I will go with her.

I met with Barbara. Honestly, she wasn't a good fit for me. She was running behind when FH and I got there so we waited about 20 min. When she finally got to us, she rushed through the presentation. She didn't seem like a right fit for us. I wish I was able to meet with John. But the people before us seemed to love her, so it could have been just that she didn't like me and my FH! Oh well..,

I also felt that she was rushing us. She was very nice but she was not offering a lot of ideas and thoughts. We were a little turned off so we took that as a sign and booked lovin oven!

I also felt like she wasn't offering alot of ideas. I know nothing about flowers, so I was basically just like 'show me something pretty.' We ended up booking Pedestals because we were given alot of different ideas to work with.

Its funny that you ask, because I was going to post the exact question after meeting with her myself recently. I thought she was very helpful and had great ideas. We came up with a thorough plan of what my flowers would be like. However, I was a bit surprised at the price quote I was given, considering that I heard through these boards that Flower michele works within your budget. I still havent decided if I will spend that much, but if money wasnt an option I would have complete confidence in Barbara. HTH!!

I had the same experience with barbara, we had to wait 20 minutes and she didn't give me a good vibe!

I completely agree. My mom & I met with Barbara today & she was AMAZING!!! She took my ideas of a fall theme, gerber daisies & sunflowers and ran with it! I am thinking of booking just have one more florist to see. I was soo excited when I sat down with her - she went out of her way and was unbelievable.
