Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...
I bought silk flowers at Michael's. They smelled really funky and unfortunately, didn't know it until my wedding day. If you get silk from Michael's make sure you take a wiff first!

My hall wont let us throw silk ones because if it cant get cleaned up right away, teh birsd will still try and eat them..we can only use real ones..which is fine..you can get them through yoru florist no problem..and the arent expenisve..usually about 40 bucks for 80 people,, but sometimes they'll thow them in free!

Re: Flower Petal Toss Question...
I think I'm going to use real ones. (My hall said it was ok too.)
I was going to have a flower girl put petals on the path before I walk down - but have heard terrible stories of brides slipping on them! So, I think I will just have them thrown at us after we're married.
Has anyone else heard (or witnessed) brides slipping on the petals?

Just check with your church and make sure there is not an additional clean-up fee. Some churches have that, no matter what you throw.

I'm using real ones. My florist threw them in for free and she got lavender rose petals becuase the flower girls dress is lavender.
