flower prices question please hellllllp

so we still have flowers to book and we finally made an appointment

i know that the prices vary depending on what u get...and luckily enough fh's parents are paying for our flowers but they have no idea of a budget since they dont know what it tipically goes for and neither do we..and we dont want to go overboard..but we are basically going to book this place bc its fbil's girlfriends dads place and we told them we'd book

we want decent flowers but not too pricey so if u can post what u are paying id really appreciate it! or fm thanks!!!!


oh just to get an idea of what we will need..i'll need my bok, 5 bridesmaids bok, 10 boutineers for the guys...umm centerpieces for the tables (im not sure how many but im having between 150-200 people) i would like high centerpieces or at least a mix or high and low

Depends on the florits and the type of flowers that you want but i would say a good estimate is around $2500 ballpark....depending on what kind of ceremony flowers you want too

i'm clueless too lol ... but we did 2 church centerpiece things at the front of the church ... and tulle to go down the pews with bows on the ends.. if you need petals etc.

im not allowed to do the tulle down the pews..but ill def do the centerpieces in the front

Hey Jenise...I have a similiar flower setup as you...5 BM, 8 GM, 3 FG, 15 High CP and some parent flowers and 45 floating roses in CH room on each table. $2800...

My bok is Cymbidium orchids and Mini Calas...the girls are a mix of purple flowers and the CP are hydraindias and assorted flowers.

I'm going to add on church flowers probably 2 baskets at the alter and FH (for some reason) really wants flowers on EVERY pew...my church has 36 of them I'm hoping my florist can add the church flowers on for no more than $1000 more...

That's going to be very hard. You can tell your florist your budget is $1k and see what they can do. What kind of flowers did you want?

Wow flowers are expensive eh? I was also thinking of doing high centerpieces Jenise. My room has a high ceiling so I think the high centerpieces would look nicer. What is the price difference betweeen high and the low ones? I am also clueless about flowers so don't feel bad!

yes! its crazy..i told brian id ask the girls on here what they are paying and when i told him, hes like 'WHAT?!?! and flowers die!' its nuts how much everything cost but i have no clue the difference in price, i jsut know that high are more expensive and i know that certain flowers are more expensive then others
