So I went to the florist on Saturday and they gave me a good idea...
I'm having about 200 guests, but the room can hold about 300, so we'll have some 'dead' space.
I'm not too big into flowers, except roses, and like things 'parve' (trim and tight). I wanted all low centerpieces, however, one florist suggested since we're not filling up the room to have some higher centerpieces on the outskirt tables. It's also like $100 more expensive per table where the higher centerpieces will be on.
What do you think? Do you think it will make a difference. The reception is from 1-5, so hopefully there will be sunshine too.

Re: Flower question...
I sounds like a good idea but I don't think the hall is going to leave you with dead space. They can probally space the tables out more. Or even move the tables back off the dance floor a little so that you dont realize the extra space.
The flower idea is nice but don't really know if you are going to need it. I would talk to the hall first.

Re: Flower question...
Thanks, I was just talking to my co-worker about it and she seems that it's unnecessary!! I think so too. The 'dead' space that will be there, will be by a window that people will be able to look out of and if it's a gorgeous day, I definitely don't mind!
