flower question

so Im really into making my own centerpieces.. but my mom is insisting that they may come out cheap looking.. and now has me second guessing but we just dont think we can afford flowers... so my ? is ... is it possible for them to give me a price and then see a sample before we decided... (i would pay for the sample) but i would like to see it before i decide. Havent gone to any florists yet i was just wondering if anyone else knows so i dont sound stupid if i ask.

I think you could totally do that! Be honest and upfront with the florists and if they are worth it, they will work with you. Good luck!
