I know you can bring your own if you like

You can use the scraps from the girls dresses to wrap their BoK with there dress color you can have them wrapped in tulle its up too you andf what you want/like

Well. I wouldn't say that anything other then double face satin looks cheap. I prefer it but I've seen a lot of girls who have done a sheer color wrap. Its just about personal taste.

Gina they will match your dresses to the ribbon. Unless you want your girls to match exactly you can bring in the extra fabric from your BM dresses and then can wrap the flowers in that fabric.

i totally agree i just mean if you are doing satin it is the way to go because satin can look very cheap if it isnt double faced (especially if your dess is satin) but matching BM dresses of a sheer ribbon is beautiful

Burton's told me to get all of the extra fabric from when they are hemmed and taken in from the BM's dresses so it will be a perfect match. I think they use their own fabric for mine.

Re: flower question...

I know they do provide it but for my sisters wedding in '06 we actually took the fabric from our BM dresses that were left over from getting the dress hemed and gave it to the Florist
No charge!

Re: flower question...

My florist asked for a swatch (which the dress store literally cut a piece off the strip in their book for me, lol). They are having ivory ribbons and I am having the purple ribbon so it won't be right against it to have to perfectly match.

Me too...but I doubt my BMs are going to remember to ask for the scraps to be saved, so I have a feeling ours are going to be sheer ribbon. I was so iritated, I was like interrogated to say what color my dress was because it was SO important to know the ribbon color at the initial appointment, and the response was 'Oh don't worry, he'll forget'

Re: flower question...

Its also really cute when you use left over fabric from BM dresses and make a sash for flower girl dress

You dont have to worry about getting the fabric from the alterations in the store... ask your sales girl to call the manufacturer and ask them to send scraps from the factory as a courtesy
