Ok, so I went to Flower Michele the other night and told her what my budget was. I want roses and hydrangeas which are pretty cheap to begin with. Anyway, i want to make additional appt's (Pedestals, Burtons) BUT do I tell them what my budget is or do I tell them what I want and then see what they can do it for?

i booked with burtons-you'll be in and out. they make it so easy. they were the 1st and last place i went to. they dont charge you based on what flowers you use but what you'll need (like how many boks) they were really great and only needed $50 to deposit and hold the date.

i did the same...but then again i didnt shop around we booked Burtons on the spot!!

Either don't tell them your budget and let them quote you so you can say 'well, that was really more than I wanted to spend (even if its not)' Or, tell them your budget, but I'd tell them lower than it really is.
ETA: I used Pedestals and couldn't have been happier. Rob is awesome.
