Flower time

Im so excited i finally picked my BM dresses so now I have a color scheme and vision and can meet with florists..my venue states in their contract which i signed that i must use a house vendor, so i narrowed it down to 2: flowers by brian and distinctive floral..so any reviews, positive and negative

should say: that i am not huge about the flowers so i probably want to go with the cheaper vendor.

Im booked with Distinctive. I worked with Kelly and she was great. She really helped to create a vision because I know nothing about flowers lol

Distinctive was great! Especially Kelly. If our vision wasn't so specific, we would have gone with them due to the difference in price. However,we booked with Flowers By Brian because they seemed to 'get' what we wanted. Also they threw in a lot for us even though the price was higher.

I met with Distinctive, Flowers by Brian, and Pedestals. Didn't like Distinctive at all, they weren't professional in my opinion but that might have just been my personal situation. Flowers by Brian was great, Fabiola is awesome and we would have booked with them (they were cheaper and had a great package) but i wanted a particular tall vase (i know, picky bride over here) they didn't have. We ultimately went with Pedestals even though they were more expensive than FBB for the following reasons:

1) Pedestals was at every bridal show i'd been to and from DAY 1 i was incredibly impressed with their presentation.
2) I love their showmanship and they had everything we wanted, plus they clearly knew what they were doing. We worked with Joseph who literally took my ideas and brought them to life and then some.
3) they're a house vendor so i know they know the ins and outs of our venue and how to decorate it as best as possible.

If you don't really care about the flowers and are looking for an inexpensive but good option, try Flowers by Burton or Hidden Essence. I know many people who have worked with both and loved their flowers.

I'm currently going to start looking into flowers next month, so I know what flowers are in season for my day. They are all on my top lists of florists to check out!

I'm booked with Distinctive and worked with Kris. She was so patient and took the time to show me pictures of so many different types of flowers that would keep me in my budget. I also liked that she asked my budget up front and showed me all options that were possible, so I knew I could pick from whatever she was saying.

I also didn't want to spend a lot on flowers and Distinctive by far gave me the best quote. I also felt that Kris best understood what I wanted out of all the vendors.
