Re: flower tipping. PLEASE HELP
I have heard this from a few other brides that used Jack and Rose. He is asking for like 10% tip or something like that to be added into the final payment. Well if you are paying $4000 for flowers that is a $400 tip. I think that is crazy. I would tip the delivery person or who comes that day to set up the flowers. Don't send it ahead of time like he requests. I know the bride Kim425 had the same problem. You should FM her for advice.
Hope this helps.

Re: flower tipping. PLEASE HELP
NO tipping for flowers. Maybe a couple bucks for the delivery guys/gals.
I MAY send some sort of thank-you basket to my LI florist ( I had 2 florists- one in NJ and one in NY). My NJ florist sucked. But, my NY florist, LA Blossom was PHENOMENOL! We were looking at proofs yesterday with our moms and AGAIN our moms got into an entire conversation about how beautiful the reception flowers were!
And, LA Blossom even tossed in stuff for free. When I walked into the reception room, I was SO HAPPY! So, she's probably going to get a thank-you gift from us. (And, I only booked her 20 days before the wedding)

DO NOT give Jack 20%. That is absolutely crazy! I just tipped the delivery person.
Remember, he's the owner, you are paying him a bundle already. Don't give him $ for a final product you won't be seeing until your wedding.

Re: flower tipping. PLEASE HELP
Why would you tip the vendor of the flowers? In my opinion, you should tip the person that is delivering the flowers the day of. I think when you book a florist, you already spending a lot of money and they definitely include profits when giving a price....I'd make sure that you get everything in writing including costs before you sign up with any vendor...I hate those 'hidden charges' so when I'm dealing with any vendor, I want everything crystal clear and in writing....No surprises !!!
