Flower Toss logistics question.

Flower Toss logistics question.

Hi lovely 05ers.

So, I have two little girls, age 10, passing out our flower cones at the back of the ceremony. They are not flower girls, so they will not be walking down the aisle.

do they give cones to everyone? I'm hearing only the people on the aisle need cones because the other flowers won't reach us. How do I have them give it to only people in the aisle WITHOUT walking down the aisle?

Is this a stupid question? I have 14 days to go, and I'm starting to question all of my questions. HELP!

Are you having the petals thrown at you as you walk down the aisle after saying 'I do' or waiting until after? That would depend on how many people you should hand them to.

Hi Donna - it's nice to 'hear' you!

I am having the petals thrown at both of us as we walk back up the aisle. The flowers in the aisle will be pre-laid.

I would hand them out to the guests before the ceremony and have them explain the toss is after the ceremony. You can't just give to the aisle people. Let the petals fly...haha.

Kim! I think this makes sense. Do we care if the petals don't reach us? Won't it look cool to have just a shower of petals over everyone?

Hmm...what's a concise way to have 10 year olds explain this.

'Toss these at the Bride and Groom after they kiss? as they walk back up the aisle?'

I'm scared people will throw them when I walk down the aisle - is that stupid to even think that?

Hopefully people will know when to throw them - but sometimes even our family and closest friends amaze us

Did you print them out already? If not, maybe you can add the note to them stating something like, 'Please 'throw' these are your best wishes to the Newlyweds as they walk down the aisle as husband and wife.'

How's that? Or you could even add that as a little note to the cones if they are done. Just a thought.

Great idea! I like the wording too. Thanks!

Yes instead of having the girls tell them maybe add a note to them tied with ribbon or on the petal itself. Great idea.
