I have been recommended by my FH's sister and FH's SIL to use Flowerama. FH's sister used them for ALL things and things were great (photo, DJ, video, etc) and that was in Feb 2000. FH's SIL went there, and liked the prices and such, but did not get a good vibe from the sales person, so she chose not to use them, but she now recommends them to us b/c we are trying to keep costs down.
I love the idea of a package, having as many things in one place as possible. I am just hesitant b/c the ONE thing I don't want to compromise on quality is photo/video.
Has anyone here used Flowerama in general? And has anyone used Flowerama for photo/video?
P.S. The one FH's sister and SIL used was the one in Glendale, which is closest to me, tho I would use either Glendale or Elmont.
THANKS!!

I went there and did not like the sales person at all. I found them to be very rude and just not nice - so we left.

Re: Flowerama?!?!
I bought my dress and my BMs got their dresses from the one in Glendale. So far so good. Our service was great while we were there. The dresses are scheduled to arrive in February.
I cant say anything about any of their other services because I havent used them but I will say that the photo and video cant be that bad since they have been around FOREVER!
Good Luck!

Re: Flowerama?!?!
My brother used them (glendale) in May 2002. His pictures came out very nice, however the photographer assigned to them was extremely nasty. He yelled at the guests and even pushed some out of his way at the church.
The flowers were definitely beautiful. I thought that the limos were not such a good deal. They probably could have done better by cutting out the middle man. JMO

Re: Flowerama?!?!
My dress, and the BH's dresses were purchased from the Elmont store. My MOH's co-worker used the whole package deal, and she absolutely LOVED the experience. She, too, was tight on cash.
Good luck in choosing.
FYI - most bridal centers don't actually own everything. For instance, from what I've heard, Flowerama doesn't always have a photographer on hand for their customers, so they 'rent' from other studios. So in other words, some people might rave about how good their Flowerama photographer was, and some might have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. So it's pretty much a shot in the dark.

Re: Flowerama?!?!
I used Flowerama in Glendale for my Bridesmaids dresses in May. I had a wonderful expeirence with them.
I don't want to change your mind, but just for something to think about.....someone told me once that, even tho Flowerama (or even any place) has been around for so many years, they wouldn't put all there eggs in one basket!

Re: Flowerama?!?!
We looked in flowerama for bridemaid gowns.the salesperson really wasn't very friendly, and it looked more like a warehouse..it's definitely a different feel anda different servie level than a boutique. I want to save money aso, but to me, good service si the highest priority, because you need to feel like all of your vendors are going to come through for you... best of luck!

Re: Flowerama?!?!
My fiance went there and hated their customer service..they werent helpful at all..and my cousin said the same for the gown department. She got 1/5 of the stuff I'm getting in terms of flowers from them, and we're paying the same price!

Re: Flowerama?!?!
I went to Flowerama in Elmont last week to look at dresses & although I didn't have an appointment, the salesperson was very nice & helpful. Their dress prices were also very reasonable, but I don't know about their other services.

Re: Flowerama?!?!
They are nice there but they kinda rush you if you go in on the weekend. Go during the week. I had no problems going there. I would use them for BM dresses. They have been around for a very long time.
