Re: Flowerama's Bridal in Elmont

I was not pleased with them at all - in terms of their dress offerings at least. The lady was nice that was helping me though.
Every place I went to I always found something that I liked at least a little bit, but at Flowerama I did not find one thing, in fact the more she brought out the worse it got for me. I left there very unhappy. I'm not sure if the lady didn't understand what I was looking for or if she was just trying to sell me what she liked.
Maybe it was me and my frame of mind at the time, but like I said, nothing she brought our thrilled me at all. I saw other girls with beautiful dresses on while I was there, just mine were bad and then worse for whatever reason ...

I got my dress from there (I'm picking it up on Thursday). I had seen my dress elsewhere and knew Florwerama carried the designer (Eva Forsyth), so I went there and got it a lot cheaper than the first place I went to (Macy's).
The girls there have been great to me thus far. And my seamstress (Josephine) is awesome. She really knows her stuff and totally listens to you.

Good Luck

NOPE! She kept bring out lacy, old fashioned dresses with a lot of beading and stuff. And I was trying to be really nice about it, like 'OK I like the neck but not the beading so then she would bring out every dress with that neckline and with tons more beading or tons more lace ... I was like come on now!!! Like I said the lady was nice and so were the people behind the counter but it was a bad experience for me.

I was just there last Saturday and I wasnt thrilled with their selection at all. But I agree, the lady who helped me was nice. Except she didnt give me any privacy in the dressing room.
