did anyone get ready at flowerfield? I need a salon in the area to do hair/makeup the morning of..any suggestions?

I'm not a Flowerfield bride but I do know of a great salon in the area of St. James. It's called T. Carlton Spalon. They do hair and make up over in the salon and then the spa is next door where you can get massages and stuff. I've used them for hair (updo's and styling) and I was happy everytime! HTH!

I am getting married there but getting ready at my house. I booked the Hyatt Regency windwatch in Hauppauge to stay after; it is a gorgeous hotel! I reccommend that if that's helpful.... Good luck!

They are on Rt. 25A in St. James. They do tend to get a little pricey. I haven't done the research yet to see what's reasonable for trials and day-of hair and makeup and what they should cost so I'll let you make that judgement when you look on the site!

Tru salon is also on 25A in St. James...they do great work there (hair/makeup) and it is 5 minutes from Flowerfield. $$ I have only used them for hair, but I have been really hapy with them

The bride at T. Carlton is almost always $100. I just inquired last week.
That's my regular salon - as of March, they are moving to a new location right next to the Watermill, so it will not be as convenient to Flowerfield.
I've been to Tru also - they're good.

I had my hair done at Cactus, then Jacqueline Nicole met me at FF and we all got made up and dressed there! It was so much fun!

Try Paul James in St. James. I have been going there for years. It is located literally 3 minutes from FF. FM for more info.Paul James Salon

me and my girls and family got our hair and makeup done at Denise Lee Salon in Setauket... it is on 25A labout 5- 10 minutes east of FF- they did a great job.

I also go to T.Carlton's regularly -- there new location is only about a 1.5 miles from the current location so they are moving too far -- but it will be a much bigger salon. I think for BM's it's about $75 I think and the Bride is $100. They are great there!!
