Flowerfield Brides
Hadn't been to FF since the showcase in Jan, and I first saw it in Nov. Took my mom and sister there a few weeks ago to show them our fantastic venue - and they were definitely amazed. It looks so different when it's not winter! The whole place was in bloom and it was spectacular. And the swans have babies :) The visit totally reignited my excitement for our wedding, because now I know it will look even more amazing for our spring wedding than when we fell in love with it over the winter.
Also I'm really glad they changed the bridge in the atrium and took off that tulle and lights. It looks a lot better now, painted a pale yellow with votives hanging off of it instead of the lights and tulle. Now if only they'd change their sign too...can hardly see it from the road, and it's really faded.
What is your favorite thing about our venue? The koi pond is my absolute favorite thing there! We're having our whole reception in the atrium, and the koi pond is a big reason. I even found a beautiful koi wax seal stamper that I'm using for the invites. Also we really love the ceremony space - a small island surrounded by willow trees and swans - it is a fairytale come to life. Really hope the weather holds out for our april (eek!) outdoor ceremony! Our rain plan is to marry on the bridge over the koi pond. Where are you ladies planning on getting married indoors? (for cold weather or for your rain plan)
