I looked at Flowerfields for my wedding and I absolutely loooove it! The problem - I did not like the Banquet Manager.
She really rushed us and was not as helpful as she should be. She said that she would show us pictures and give us names, but she never did. We had to pry certain aspects of the pricing from her, and we are still unclear about it. She got up to leave while were still asking questions. Perhaps she was not so interested in us because we are having a kosher wedding and we will be bringing in our own caterer. Other than that, I cannot figure out why she behaved that way. Most places bend over backwards for our business when they hear that we will probably be getting married in February!
Who can you recommend for BM and how can I tactfully go about switching?

Hmmm...when I looked there, I met with a male BM...I'm sorry, I don't remember his name!
I would call and make an appt to see someone else.

i've ben dealing with Florinda and she has been nothing but sweet and helpful. The fact that you want to bring in other caterers may have turned yours off...not sure.

Bringing in your own caterer shouldn't bother them. They still make $. People do it at Crest Hollow ALL the time. I would just call, like a new customer and make another apt. Maybe call first as yourself and try to see what day she is NOT in and make it that day. She seems very unprofessional.

We are working with Meaghan and she has been super helpful--answering all my random wedding questions! Maybe they were just having an off day? Happens to the best of us (not that I'm making excuses for Flowerfield). Good luck and keep us posted!

We have been dealing with Meagan and I love her. If that is who you were dealing with, she may have just had an off day. I know she is currently planning her own wedding and we all know how stressful that is. If you are not happy just call and ask to speak to someone else. It's a business. I don't think you will offend anyone.

The managers there are so sweet. I'm really surprised you ran into this problem. Maybe she was just having an off day?? I can't see them pushing you away.

Yes we has our food tasting, July 1st. It was amazing! The fillet mignon was like butter. All the food was great. We brought my parents and FH parents and every one was raving about the food.
