does anyone know if there is an age limit when a girl should no longer be a flower gilr and should be a jr bridesmaid? My fiance niece is going to be 10 when I get married and I would like her to be a jr birdesmaid but she wants to be a flower girl

Re: Flowergirl
I say, let her be a flower girl. I don't think that trying to reason with her will help. Although the only ace you may have is that it's very grown up to be a jr. bridesmaid..try that on her.

Re: Flowergirl
I will try that approach. She has in her head that all there is to be is a flowergirl. I told her she would be with all the girls at everything (ecxcept the bachlorette party) and that she would have 2 handsome men walking her down the aisle. Thanks for your advice- I will try it.

Don't feel bad. My brother who will be 10 close to 11 will be the ring bearer. I've promised him that role since me and my fiance started dating 7 years ago.

My flowergirl is 9. At first I thought she was too old and than I realized that I have other stuff to stress over

Just wanted to share that I have the opposite problem. My flower girl is 2 years old and won't be able to walk down the aisle by herself yet. But I refuse to pick any other girl in the family...that's just more problems I don't need. Good luck, 10 is fine for a flower girl...
