Who usually picks it out? Is it normal for the mother to just go and buy one herself? And, isn't there supposed to be SOME color in it? Isn't THE BRIDE supposed to be the only one in white?

Re: Flowergirl dress
I'm not having one but my best friend picked the one for her flowergirl and it was pink. I've seen these cute ones that were white but w/ colored flower petals inside the hem of the dress though.

Re: Flowergirl dress
It is really your choice whether or not to have the FG in white - for instance - my dress is ivory - but it is closer to white than ivory - but anyway if my FG were in white i think my dress would look yellow next to them - I am not a big fan of white FG dresses anyway - they remind me of mini brides I have 3 FG and decided to have them wear a color - it is pale pink - and my BM are in black so no conflict there - Did I answer your question?? sometimes I ramble.........

Re: Flowergirl dress
That is too funny! I am having my little cousin as my flower girl. About 2 weeks ago I get a phone call from my Aunt saying that she bought my little cousin a flower girl dress!! I was soo mad. She did not call me to even ask to go looking together. I basically told her that I really wanted to pick it out, and I want it to match my bridesmaids. She wound up returning it, but I thought it was really strage of her to do.
