i'd say like 10 would be the cut off, anything older than hat would be junior bridesmaid.

Re: flowergirl vs. junior bridesmaid
I think about 7 or 8. My FG is 7, and I think its ok, but if she was any older I think she'd be a little too old to be a FG

I have two girls..at the time of the wedding, one will be 7 and the other 9. Not sure of they should both be flower girls ... ????

I think anything under 8/9 would be a good FG age. Then it all depends on how big/small she is. My FG will be 7 on our wedding, but shes so tiny she looks younger

I think they would look cute, but at this age, they might look cuter if they wear a combo of white and another color as opposed to a white FG dress, or even something similar to the BMs??? just a thought

I think 10 is a good cut off age for FG's MY FG's are 3 and 7 and my Jr. BM's are 11 and 16.HTH

I think under the age of 9 or 10, you can get away with having them as a FG. But 10 and up, aim to make them junior BMs. But it is true that you should definitely take their size into consideration - like if you have an 8 or 9 year old who is just really tall, looks a lot older, maybe bump her up to a junior BM.

I am also having this dilemma, but I wanted only the little girls ( agest 3,4,5) to be FG's. And I am not having Jr. BM's, so we are going to find something at the church for the 10 yr old to do.. Hand out the programs, or something... I think 10 is a little old for a FG in my opinion...(I am actually catching flack for this from Fh and family )

I think 10 and younger are fine for FGs. I have two Fg one will be 8 and one will be 5. The 8 yr old is also a FG in another wedding in Nov.

Re: flowergirl vs. junior bridesmaid
depends but I'd say generally under 9 or 10 is ok for a FG.
