Re: Flowergirls
im leaving it up to the mother. But my fg always has her hair done nicely even for no occasion so i think the mother will definitely do something

Re: Flowergirls
our flower girl is 6 and doesn't really like having her hair brushed! So i could just picture her crying while someone is trying to style it. I got her a headband and fh is just going to brush her hair straight. (she's fh's daughter, so he has to get her ready that day!)

Re: Flowergirls
My niece was my FG and she had her hair done with myself and my sister. She had a blast at the salon, wore a robe like us and got fussed over.

I am just hoping my FG has more hair by then! my niece is going to be 2 at our wedding and I will be lucky she gets the dress on and walks down the aisle w/o a tantrum! Hair is the last thing on my mind when it comes to her

Re: Flowergirls
The older of my two flower girls will have her hair done -- probably just curled or maybe half up. She is 3 and loves dresses and hair and all that stuff so she is going to be so excited! My other flower girl will not even be 1 yet so she probably won't have much hair by then.

I think I'll get them their hairpieces and have their moms take care of the styling

Re: Flowergirls
My daughter is my FG and you don't want to know how much I am spending on her that day! Her hair doesn't grew and her dad screwed it up more by cutting gum out of the top of her head. Anyway, I got a ponytail extension from the mall for $35! I got her 3 rhinestone pins for $20 and a tiara for $5 and some other things to go in her hair. Then I have to pay the hairdresser. I also want baby breaths. I know exactly what I want for her, not me though. Then, I got her haircut for $10 at the local haircutter last week for a sweet 16 we were going to at the East Wind and she loved the cut. She now wants her hair done like that for the day! Now she will have 2 dresses and hairpieces she won't be using I suggest leaving it up to the parents because it can get costly.

Re: Flowergirls
i'm also leaving it up to the mothers (FSILs)... they're adorable anyway, but i'm not particular about how their hair should look.

my FG cut her own hair about 4 months ago (just the bangs -- super short) I'm think it'll be okay by September ( I hope!)
