Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

How are you girls having the little ones walk down the aisle? I have two flower girls and one ring bearer. I don't know if I should have the flowergirls walk together and the ring bearer walk solo, or all three together. Any suggestions?

Re: Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

I think the real deciding factor with young children is what will work for them. Consider their age, how well they know each and each childs temperment.

I had 4 flower girls (our nieces) aged 3.5 - 9. The 9 year old and 3.5 year old were no problem (the little one still referrs to it as 'our wedding') the middle two aged 8 were very nervous. In the end they all made it and looked adorable. I think the important thing is to make it fun for them and to be flexible. I was fully prepared for the little one to refuse to walk the day of - but she was a star!

Re: Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

Depending on how big your isle is, I would have all three walk together. Personal opinion. Also it depends on how old the children are. My nephew was scared to walk down by himself at my cousins wedding. Both ways are cute it depends on what you want.

Re: Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

It depends. I have a 3 year old FG and 6 year old RB. They are first cousins, but more like siblings, They will walk together. If I had a 8 year old RB and a 3 year old FG that didn't know one another I would not have them walk down together. It all depends.

Flowergirls are 5 & 6, the Ring Bearer is 9.

Re: Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

I agree with lili. Have the ring bearer walk in the middle, with one flower girl on each side. It will look adorable.

Re: Flowergirls & Ring Bearers

I only have one ring bearer and no flower girls. How should he walk in? How should he be announced in the reception?? Just thought I would post since we are on the subject
