Flowers

I just started looking into flowers and I can't believe how much $$$$$.

I can't afford to spend more that 800 on flowers and centerpieces....so I need ideas....please post pictures of different ideas for centerpieces...plants, candles, baskets....anything!

I'm having a mental breakdown

Poor dear, don't stress yourself so much. I originally went through the same thing!!!!!

You can do floating candle centerpieces at around $10-15 a table. I think they're lovely and elegant, not to mention economical!!!!!

I think there is a thread in the DIY board with all kinds of pics... There are alot of really pretty stuff you can do for little money!

We're doing candle CPs for this reason. They were $20 a piece at Linens N Things and then we bought votives to go around them. All together the CPs cost us about $30 a table.

ETA: The first one is the one we're doing, the other three were other choices I believe they are from Bed, Bath and Beyond. HTH

Use planted flowers, that you can purchase at a garden center.
Since you are in Spring, you should have tons of choices for seasonal plants. You can transplant them into little galvanized beach pails, and stack them to maximize the effect.
As for BoKs- there are definitely cheap alternatives, ask your florist, but I would be tedious of trying this yourself.
