a friend of mine was quoted over 23K for flowers. seriously. the quote did not come from an liw vendor or a long island vendor, they are in PA. i nearly dropped to the group when i heard this, i cannot believe that it is true. would you pay this for flowers?
and ps, she is not actually paying this much, just a quote. there is no way her parents would but up that much money for flowers.

thats what i said. my budget is 24K. i don't know what this included.
don't know the wedding size, probbaly about 200.
in reality her parents are incredible well off, and the most down to earth people, and we think that this guy was just taking advantage of the fact that her parents have the $$ to shell out. they never would and are very angry that this man is trying to take advantage. ps, the wedding is in april.

she was borm here on li, moved to PA with her family and now lives in FL....so she wants a typical LI wedding. but 23K for flowers? if that was typical i'd have one rose at my wedding and call it a day

when I went to visit my sample there was another amazing sample on display and it was all Gardenias and about 5 feet tall and all different levels and it was amazing anyway the flroist said it was for a wedding at the waldorf and the girl was spending over 100k just on the flowers

Thats a price for the very rich and usually famous.. Ive seen weddign show's where they paid like 40K...(Whose wedding is it anyway/Bridezilla)
I think its crazy.. I dont think I would do that even if I was well off!! Good for her parents, not letting him take advantage!!
