My wedding is not till next July but I know what florists I want to use and what flowers. The only thing is I don't know the colors. Do you think it is too early to book the florists? Should I wait till I know my bridemaids dress color?

I don't think it is too early. If you know which flowers you are going to use, you can finalize a color later on. Good Luck!

I'm doing the same thing - i knew the flowers I wanted just not quite sure on the shade yet but I booked my florist because I didn't want to wait and then not be able to get him for my day

I booked my flowers in November (that was about a year and eight months before) and it was no problem. I needed to know what flowers I wanted but no colors. Even then you can change ur flowers but ur price might change is the only thing. And by booking early I got their current prices. So when they go up by 07 I'll be paying '05 prices. When it gets closer they will have me come in for colors and all that. I got all my flowers for church,bo-k's, centerpieces and everything for $2200. I am having all roses....a dozen for my centerpiecs....and just white at the church. I'm not sure what flowers. FM me if you would like to know more.

Definitely not too early. Talk to the florist and let them know what you're unsure of. They should be able to help you come up with something beautiful!

i dont think its too early...but im sure you can wait until 6-9 months before the wedding...
one of the florist told me that as long as i come in 6-9 months before there will be no problem doing my wedding...

I plan on going soon, just to get one more thing checked off, but a friend of mine who is getting married this March only booked her florist about 2 months ago. I guess it does not hurt to go now, but you can also wait if you wanted to.
