so FMIL surprised me when I went upstate last week and made my flower girl baskets out of silk flowers and all my bok's including mine out of silk as well and they came out gorgeous. She kept them there to add some final touches and is sending pictures soon but this is so great becuase I was worried about how they would come out and she did them instead of the florist. So the question is who is going for silk as well and who is going for fresh. I love the silk cause know I can keep it and possibly hand it down to my children.

I am going for fresh only because I found a place where it wasn't going to cost a lot. I was going to use silk also. I like the silk flowers.

I am doing fresh, but my BF did silk flowers at her wedding and they were very pretty...plus, I still have my bouquet which looks nice on my bookcase.

I am using fresh flowers but only for the bo-k's and the boots. For everything else I am using silk.

Fresh Flowers for me...I love the way they smell and some flowers are so special that finding them in silk are hard to get and can be costly.
