9 bridesmaid bouquets ( i dozen roses each)
my bouquet-
12 boutenerres
5 cosages
2 arrangements for the church and decorations for the first three pews

$3000...supposedly my florist said this is an incredible deal... what do u think?

Re: Flowers

I personally think that is a pretty good deal. 3K for flowers for high centerpieces and 9 bridesmaids bouquets is awesome.

I am paying 3500 for 18 low centerpieces with 2 dozen roses, some orchids in them, hydrangeas, and filler flowers (100 per centerpiece). Flowers for the cocktail tables inside fishbowls, my boq with roses and stefanotis, my 2 MOH boq's, 3 bouts for the guys, 2 bouts for the ringbearers, 2 flower girl baskets with the rose petals, 2 boq for the mothers, 2 big pieces for the church in a 4 foot clear glass cylinder vase, a flower arrangement for our table at the hall since we don't have a big bridal party, and 10 bouquets with toul for the church pews.

ETA: I forgot the cake flower decoration, 3 votive candles on each table, and the guests get to keep the arrangement with the glass cylinder vase.

A bridezilla i know spent 75,000 on flowers. She used preston bailey.

Sounds good. I got quotes for 11 CPs (roses and hydrangea and my bo-k, 4 BM, 8 book, 4 corsage for $2600 rom 2 diff florists. I would definitely check a few other s to compare though,.

Re: Flowers

For the number of high centerpieces you have, $3,000 sounds like a good deal. But check with other florists for competitive bids just in case.

This site has a list of flower available by month. (FYI, it's also a great resource for DIY flowers).

From 2/5-2/18

From 2/1-2/4, from 2/19-2/29

According to the above site, Valentine's Day affects flower costs between 2/5-2/18.

ETA--typos fixed.

I think you should go to one more place with the exact things he gave you just so you see how much you saved.....if you don't, you'll keep kicking yourself thinking you got ripped off (even though i think it's a good deal)

You could def try to get quotes from elsewhere...Roses are one of the most inexpensive flowers you can get...ive seen quotes for that much and even less that girls have posted and with different types of flowers.[/QUOTEI
