Would anyone mind sharing how much they were quoted for their flowers? I was interested in seeing if I got a good price or not. I have- 20 high centerpieces ( three dozen roses) 9 bridesmaid bouquets ( i dozen roses each) my bouquet- 12 boutenerres 5 cosages 2 arrangements for the church and decorations for the first three pews
$3000...supposedly my florist said this is an incredible deal... what do u think?

You could def try to get quotes from elsewhere...Roses are one of the most inexpensive flowers you can get...ive seen quotes for that much and even less that girls have posted and with different types of flowers.

I got approximately the same quote for the same amount of things, but my flowers included roses, orchids, calla lillies, hydrangea and stephanotis in my BoK, Calla lillies in the bouts and BM boks, and calla lillies/hydrangea/orchids in the high CPs.
So for all roses, I think you should be quoted less.

I think you can do a little better. If you shop around a little more, then you'll be confident that you got the best deal that you could.

I agree roses a fairly inexpensive. Normally orchids and calla lilies tend to inflate prices.
it might depend on the color of your roses or type? did you specify what kind.
otherwise its a high quote.

I think that's way too high for 'just' roses. I'm not any means knocking roses, I just know from going around that they are the second least expensive 'big' flower [carnations being the cheapest].
If you said you were having all callas for BM BOK's and them in centerpieces with let's say orchids or stephanotis, then I'd say great deal! But for roses, defintely go elsewhere! Would you mind sharing where you went? I went to 1 place and was shocked that they were so pricey!

I dont know what to do. I am stuck using him beacuse it is my fh's friend. He did say he would add other flowers , but I cant think of the name. The roses are lavender and it is also february. He is giving us the centerpiece s for 100 each. i dont know what to do........

im getting married in Feb also.. but our 1st florist appt is thursday, so we havent gotten a quote yet. but we have a package with our RH and some stuff is included, so im not sure exactly what we're getting from an outside company yet. but we are doing mostly roses too. red ones. maybe JUST roses too.. not sure yet.

my center pieces are long glass cylanders with roses and greeneries w/ those curly things there beautiful, and my flowers are different shades of pink roses w/ lillys

ok guys your scaring me my florist quoted me 9k. i have 35 tables alternting high and low centepieces. 12 bm bok, 2 corsages, my bok all mini calla lillies and centerpiece for escort card table. m,y flowers are lillies, chamapagne roses, stock, and snapdragons. im actually gonna go soon and see if we could change some stuff. it is a lil too much for us to spend.
