have any of you ladies thought about doing your flowers yourself. we are on a tight budget and i have fould places to get flowers at a reasonable price for our budget but we would have to put everything together.
I saw Beautiful books in michaels on flowers and DIY centerpieces for weddings .. they were on the end cap pf the wedding isle in michaels craft store!!

What about doing candles and small flower CPs? Or do floating flowers in the bowl instead of the floating candles. Then you can have them do your bouquets and all.

i was thinking about small cp with about a dzen roses in them with candles on the sides and with the bouquets doing the hand tied. i just want simple.

I am looking for low-simple CP as well. Have you thought about another flower then roses?

I was thinkg about doing my own cp too could u fm where you are getting the flowers for a reasonable price. I am going to do some price comparsion to see how much would I save for what I want. The CP picked is same idea you have. I have some pictures I will try to download them when I get a chance. I also heard stop and shop sells beautiful flowers too so I will be checking them out.

i'm planning on doing my own cp's. i'll probably do something w/candles and rose petals around them or something. i think i'm still gonna use a florist for the bo-k's though.

If you dont mind doing centerpieces with fake flowers AC Moore puts the centerpices together for free if you by the flowers from them and they look really good... try the one on Glen Cove Road
I'm doing my own CP's candle holder, with white birch around it. Pics in wedding stuff. The candle holder I found in Target for $6.49 The original price was $25. I got a great deal.
